Importing Your Wallet into Magic Eden: A Step-by-Step Guide

Importing your wallet into Magic Eden is a straightforward process that ensures you have access to your assets and transactions seamlessly. Whether you're starting fresh or have an existing seed phrase, this guide will walk you through the steps to successfully import your wallet.

Import a new wallet

Install the browser extension

When you install the Magic Eden browser extension, you'll land on the homepage. Here, you can choose either 'I Have A Wallet' or 'Create New Wallet.'

Click 'I Have A Wallet'

Select this option to initiate the wallet import process.

Restore wallet page

You'll be directed to the Restore Wallet page. Enter your 12-word secret phrase and, if applicable, tick the checkbox for multiple accounts.

Create a password

Set and confirm a password to secure your wallet. Confirm the restoration on the following screen.

Reopen to see your restored wallet

Your wallet will close temporarily to perform the restoration. Reopen it to access your restored wallet.

When your wallet already has a seed phrase

Navigate to the 'Profile' tab

Head to the 'Profile' tab at the bottom of the Magic Eden Wallet.

Access settings

Click on the 'Settings button', followed by the Advanced drop-down button.

Click 'Restore Wallet'

Initiate the Recover Wallet flow by clicking the 'Restore Wallet' button.

Warning message

Be aware that the current wallet, along with assets and transactions, will be replaced. Before proceeding, ensure you've backed up your current seed phrase.

Enter 12-Word Secret Phrase

Input the existing wallet's 12-word secret phrase, and tick the checkbox for multiple accounts if applicable.

Set a unique password

Create a unique password for the wallet, following password strength guidelines. Confirm it on the next screen.

Confirm restoration

Confirm that you want to restore your wallet. Click the pink 'Restore Wallet Now' button.

Reopen Magic Eden Wallet

The wallet will close, and you'll need to reopen it to view your restored wallet.

Managing multiple wallets

Magic Eden currently doesn't support multiple seed phrases simultaneously. However, users have the option to delete their existing wallet and import a different one. If you wish to switch to another wallet, simply follow the steps to delete your current wallet and import the desired one using the provided guide.
