What’s happening to Magic Eden’s APIs?
Magic Eden is making changes to its API offerings as part of the broader marketplace shift.
Bitcoin API
The Bitcoin API will remain available until March 27
After March 27, the Bitcoin API and all related backend services will be fully shut down
Developers should export all required data and migrate dependencies before this date
Solana API
We are evaluating the Solana API as part of the broader platform transition.
For now, the Solana API remains operational. Any future changes to API access, rate limits, or support will be communicated in advance through official Magic Eden channels.
Developers should plan accordingly and monitor updates as we finalize next steps.
Will Magic Eden provide migration support or alternative infrastructure?
No.
Magic Eden will not be providing migration tooling, alternative infrastructure recommendations, or ongoing support for deprecated services. Developers are expected to plan and execute their own migrations prior to the relevant shutdown dates.
What happens if my application breaks after March 27?
Magic Eden will not provide support for:
EVM marketplace integrations
Bitcoin marketplace integrations or APIs
Please ensure your systems are prepared ahead of time.
Where will future developer updates be shared?
Any additional updates will be shared through:
Official Magic Eden announcements
Help Center updates
No direct developer support channels will be available for deprecated services.
