Receiving collectibles or NFTs in the Magic Eden app

Receive page

Navigate to the Portfolio page and select the Receive button (down arrow inside a circle) on the top right corner.

View your addresses

The Receive page will show you all your addresses on the current account from each chain. You can quickly copy the address by clicking the Copy icon or click the QR icon to view the QR code for the address.

It is important to know which chain the NFTs or collectibles being sent to you are on so that you can provide the sender the correct address.

Receive Assets page

When you click the QR icon you will be taken to the Receive Assets page for the selected chain. Your address will be displayed in plain text. Click the "Copy" button to copy the address to your device's clipboard. Your address also will be displayed as a QR code. Share this QR code with potential senders for them to scan.

Special note for Ordinals, Runes and Rare Sats

If you are receiving Ordinals, Runes, or Rare Sats, do not send them to your "Bitcoin" address. Instead, use your "Ordinals and Runes" address. This address is a 'taproot' address, distinct from your "Bitcoin" address which is 'native segwit'.

If you have Ordinals, Runes, or Rare Sats in your "Bitcoin" address, please read this article on how to extract them.

Important reminder

Ensure you select the correct chain and address type for your NFTs or collectibles to be sent to to avoid any loss.
