Receiving digital collectibles or NFTs in your Magic Eden Wallet is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure you receive your assets correctly and securely.

Steps to receive digital collectibles or NFTs

Open the Magic Eden Wallet app

From the Collectibles tab, you'll see the Receive button at the top of the app.

Access your receive address

Hover over the Receive button to view all your addresses across the chains supported by Magic Eden. These addresses are for both cryptocurrency and NFTs.

Select the receiving network

Click the Receive button to open the network selector. Choose the appropriate network based on where your NFT is located. For example, if your NFT is on Ethereum, select the Ethereum network.

Get your address

Use the 'Copy' button to copy your address to the clipboard. A QR code is also provided for easy sharing. Send the collectible to this address.

Repeat for other chains

The process is similar for other supported chains, such as Base, Polygon, or Solana. Simply select the appropriate chain and obtain the address.

Special note for Ordinals/Runes and Rare Sats

If you are receiving Ordinals, Runes, or Rare Sats, do not send them to your Bitcoin address (which is for cryptocurrency). Instead, use your Ordinals and Runes address. This address is a 'Taproot' address, distinct from your regular Bitcoin address 'Native Segwit'.

Important reminder

Ensure you select the correct network and address type for your digital collectibles or NFTs to avoid any loss. Double-check the address before sending.
