Compressed NFTs (cNFTs) represent a shift in NFT storage methodology on the Solana blockchain. Unlike traditional NFTs, which store all data on-chain, cNFTs leverage a Merkle tree structure. This architecture reduces storage costs significantly and expands possibilities for creators and collectors.
The journey to integration
At present, Magic Eden Wallet does not support cNFTs. However, we are working on integrating the standard into our platform.
