How to Send Cryptocurrency Using the Magic Eden App

A complete guide to sending tokens and crypto assets to other addresses from within the Magic Eden app.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to send your crypto using the Magic Eden app. Always double-check the address to ensure you're sending your crypto to the correct destination. Blockchain transactions are permanent and can not be reversed.

Sending crypto from the Magic Eden app

View your crypto portfolio

Navigate to the "Portfolio" page and click on the "Crypto" tab to view a list of all your crypto assets.

Click the "Send" button on the Crypto Portfolio page and it will open a list of all your tokens. Select the asset you wish to send to open the Send page.

If you do not see your asset listed, make sure you have not hidden the asset. Read this article for more details on how hide and unhide your assets.

Select an address

From the Send page you can select an address that has been imported into your wallet, or send to an address that you have added to your address book.

Input transaction details

On the Send page, enter the transaction details including:

  • Enter the amount of crypto you want to send (shown in amount of crypto or USD value). Click the "Max" button if you wish to send your entire balance (minus transaction fees).

  • Enter the recipient's address in the "To" box.

  • Adjust the network fee.

Adjusting the network fee

Look for where the 'Network Fee' is displayed on the bottom of the screen. By clicking on it, you will reveal further options to customize your transaction.

Upon clicking, you'll notice a slider. If you slide to the left, you'll set a lower fee which might result in a slower confirmation time. Conversely, sliding to the right will set a higher fee, aiming for a faster confirmation. When you're satisfied with your selection, click 'Done'.

Please note that setting a network fee that is too low can result in the transaction becoming "stuck" or delayed for a long period or even failing.


Confirm send

When you are ready to proceed, press "Continue". A confirmation page will ask you to again review your transaction details. If everything appears accurate, click "Send".


Monitor the send

If your send transaction has been successfully initiated, you will be shown a summary page with the transaction hash of the send. You can use the transaction hash to monitor your send transaction in real time using a block explorer such as Etherscan or Solscan.

Note after initiating the send, it may take some time for the transaction to be confirmed by the blockchain. Please refer to the information in the block explorer for the most up to date status of your send transaction.


Sending tokens from the token details page

You can also access the Send page from the token details page of the asset you wish to send. Click on an asset you wish to send to open the token details page.


Under 'Your balance' within the token details page, click on the token to open up a popup modal.

Select the "Send" button from the modal and you will navigate to the "Send" page. Follow the steps outlined above to complete your send.


Sending assets by QR code

Using the app's QR scanner, you can scan a recipient's QR code and the app will prompt you to select the token you wish to send and pre-fill the address on the "Send" page.


Adding address to the address book

You can access the address book page from the Settings page or on the Send page. From the Send page, tap the Address Book icon.

To add an address:

  1. Go to Settings > Address Book

  2. On the address book page, tap Add Address

  3. Fill in the address details:

    1. Label (e.g., “Side Wallet")

    2. Chain (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin)

    3. Wallet address

  4. Tap Save. The address is now available for future use!

Edit or delete a saved address

To edit or delete an address:

  1. Go to Settings > Address Book

  2. Tap the entry you want to modify

  3. Update your info and tap "Save" to update the label or address, or click the trash can icon to delete it

  4. From the Address Book page, you can also slide left on any entry and click the trash icon to delete
