Taking control of your collection page on Magic Eden

Updated over 3 months ago

Welcome to Magic Eden's Creator Hub! If your collection is already listed on Magic Eden's secondary marketplace, it's important to know that as of February 2023, all Solana and Bitcoin collections are managed through the Creator Hub. This article will guide you through the process of taking control of your listing, and submitting updates to your collection pages.

Automatic listings on Magic Eden

If you've never visited or used the Creator Hub before, but your collection is already listed on Magic Eden, it's likely that your listing was created automatically, potentially through the Metaplex Certified Collections (MCC) integration. To make updates and manage your collection, it's necessary to take ownership of your listing on the Creator Hub.

Taking ownership of your listing

If you wish to take ownership of your collection listing, follow these streamlined steps. This procedure guarantees that you obtain comprehensive control over modifications made to your collection pages.

Log into the Creator Hub

Begin by logging into the Creator Hub. If you're not already logged in, do so now: https://creators.magiceden.io/. (Please note that US users will be redirected to https://creators.magiceden.us)

For Solana:

Once logged in, look for the "Claim a Collection" button as shown in the screenshot below:

After clicking on "Claim a Collection" it will bring you to a new screen.
To claim ownership of a collection and transfer it to your Creator Hub account:

Enter the unique symbol associated with that collection. You can find this symbol at the end of the URL when you visit the collection's page on Magic Eden's platform.

For example, If you are located outside of the United States: magiceden.io/marketplace/<collection symbol>

If you are located inside the United States it will be magiceden.us/marketplace/<collection symbol>

Then click "Start the Transfer Process" as shown below

After clicking, you will be brought to a new screen where you must connect your wallet and verify ownership. Your wallet will be displayed and simply click the "Connect Wallet to Verify Ownership" button.

The wallet connect screen will pop up, connect your wallet and click "Sign to Verify Ownership" where you will have to sign verification transactions for all Update Authority wallets in the collection.

Once completed it will show <your wallet address> verified. After signing for your Update Authority wallet(s), wait for approval of the ownership transfer.

Now you simply have to wait for Admins to approve and you will be set!
