What is $TestME?
$TestME is a test token released by the ME Foundation. Magic Eden will be utilizing this token to test its mobile claim experience in preparation for $ME.
It has no monetary value but serves as a way for users to familiarize themselves with the token claiming process.
By participating, you ensure that your wallet is correctly linked and ready for the official token claim.
How long is $TestME claim live?
Linking wallets and claiming will be live 10/29 11am PST - 10/31 5pm PST after which remaining supply will be burnt.
Why should I claim the Test Token?
Claiming the Test Token allows you to:
Get comfortable with the process of claiming tokens.
Help us identify and resolve any potential issues before the official $ME token claim.
Where can I find the claim page?
Please use the official link shared on the ME Foundation Twitter page, and be wary of scam links. We recommend routing specifically through ME Foundation Official Posts Only*.*
Do I need a Magic Eden Wallet to claim $TestME?
While you do not need an existing Magic Eden Mobile Wallet to claim $TestME, the claim will occur in the following ways:
If you already have a Magic Eden Mobile Wallet, the claim will be linked to your Magic Eden Mobile Wallet by scanning the QR code with the inbuilt QR scanner.
If you do not already have a Magic Eden Mobile Wallet, you will need to create one during the claim process by downloading the Magic Eden mobile app via the app store.
Eligibility & Availability FAQs
What regions is $TestME available?
$TestME is available for eligible wallets through the Magic Eden mobile claim experience in all accepted regions with the exception of US and UK.
$TestME isn’t available for the US. Will the US be available for $ME?
Due to market and regulatory restrictions, US users based in the United States will not be able to claim $TestME or $ME through the Magic Eden mobile claim experience.
$TestME isn’t available for the UK. Will the UK be available for $ME?
The Magic Eden team is working closely with the UK to meet compliance measures for its mobile claim experience. Presently, UK is not available; if there are any future changes or updates, they will be shared on official Magic Eden social channels.
Who is eligible to participate in $TestME?
Outside of region restrictions, wallets that are eligible to participate in $TestME must have fulfilled the following criteria:
Wallets that have used the Magic Eden platform recently, or wallets that have bought, sold, or accepted a bid in the last 6 months with at least one transaction over $100
Random selection of recent on-chain users trading fungibles.
How do I know if I’m eligible for the Test Token?
To check your eligibility, visit the ME Foundation’s website, where you will be able to view your status. If eligible, you can proceed to claim $TestME through the Magic Eden mobile claim experience by following the instructions on the page or referring to our help centre article.

How do I claim the Test Token?

Can I participate in the $TestME claim more than once?
No, each eligible wallet can claim $TestME only once. All eligible wallets will receive the same fixed number of tokens.
Do I need to keep the $TestME token?
You don’t need to keep $TestME after claiming it. Magic Eden discourages users from trading the test token, as it has no financial value
I have a Magic Eden Wallet I want to link to my claim wallet.
Do I need to add each individual chain of my Magic Eden Wallet?
If your wallet is a desktop wallet you will need to link it same as any other wallet which can be easily done via the linking system
If I have multiple Magic Eden Wallets, do I need to add all those to the linked wallets?
Yes, if they are extension wallets.
Does this process differ for $TestME vs. $ME?
No, the Test Token process closely mirrors the official $ME token claim process.
What if my linked wallet is the same as my claim wallet?
If the wallet is a Solana address it will recognise it. Any other wallets from our supported chains will need to be manually linked.
I have a non-Magic Eden Wallet I want to link to my claim wallet.
If I have a multi-chain wallet, do I need to add each individual chain address?
Yes, each chain address needs to be linked separately.
Does this process differ for $TestME vs. $ME?
No, the Test Token process closely mirrors the official $ME token claim process.
What if I do not have a Magic Eden Wallet for claiming?
You’ll need to create one by downloading the Magic Eden mobile app and following the instructions.
$TestME vs. $ME FAQs
How does $TestME relate to $ME?
$TestME and $ME are both tokens released by the ME Foundation. $TestME will be adopted by Magic Eden to test the Magic Eden Mobile Claim Experience, which will be used when Magic Eden adopts the $ME token. Otherwise $TestME and $ME have no relation to each other.
Will I need to claim the official $ME token in the same way?
Magic Eden Mobile Claim Experience closely mirrors the official $ME token claim process.
Will I need to re-link all my wallet again for the official $ME token claim?
Users that link their wallets for the TestME claim will NOT have to link them again for the offical ME claim.
If I participate in $TestME, will I need to relink my wallets for $ME?
The same technology for mobile claim is being used for test and official; we will work to save people’s preferences
Will users receive anything special for participating in $TestME?
Users that participate in $TestME will receive no financial compensation or benefits from Magic Eden; $TestME does not have any impact on the $ME claim.
Can I trade $TestME?
Magic Eden discourages trading of the token, as it is a token with no intrinsic value adopted by Magic Eden to test the Mobile Claim Experience
Are the $TestME tokens equivalent to the amount I will receive in $ME?
No, $TestME has no relation to $ME and is purely for testing the claim system.
