The Magic Eden app allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrency directly within the app. This service, facilitated by MoonPay, ensures quick and secure transactions. In this article, we will walk you through the steps for purchasing and selling cryptocurrency.

The availability of payment methods is contingent upon your location and the third-party API providers you choose.
Accessing the Buy and Sell crypto tab
Open your Magic Eden app. Navigate to the Swap page within your app.
Purchasing crypto
Select the Buy tab
From the Swap page, select the Buy tab to open up the Buy page.
Enter the amount
Input the amount of fiat currency you want to spend or the amount of cryptocurrency you wish to purchase. The system will estimate the amount of cryptocurrency you will receive or amount of fiat you will need to spend.
Choose payment method
Below the "Continue" button, click the "<Payment Method> with MoonPay" button to select your preferred payment method.
You can pay from a variety of a payment methods such as debit card or bank transfer. Please note the different times each payment method takes to complete. Each payment method will also have different purchase amount limits.
Proceed to purchase
Confirm the amounts and payment method and then click the 'Continue" button. This will open your browser and the MoonPay site. Log into MoonPay. If it’s your first time using MoonPay, you will need to complete identity verification.
Enter payment information
Input your payment information. Your receiving address will automatically populate based on your Magic Eden account.
Review and agree
Review MoonPay’s Terms of Use and proceed to pay.
Processing
You will see a screen showing that your purchase is being processed, along with an estimated time of completion, which varies depending on the blockchain.
Selling crypto
Select the Sell tab
From the Swap page, select the Sell tab to open up the Buy page.
Enter the amount
Select the type of cryptocurrency and amount you want to sell. Select the type of fiat currency you want to receive. The system will provide an estimate of the amount of fiat currency you will receive.
Choose payment method
Click the "<Payment Method> with MoonPay" button to select your preferred method to receive your fiat.
Proceed to sell
Click the "Continue" button and follow the similar steps outlined in the purchasing process to complete your sale.
Tracking your orders
Order details
Click on the Order details tab to get important information for following up on your order, such as your Order ID.
Order history
From your History page, you can view your order and its status (e.g., Pending, Complete).
