This guide will walk you through the process of making and managing trait offers on Magic Eden's platform.

Making trait offers

Accessing the collection page

To initiate a trait offer, begin by navigating to the collection page of the desired NFT on Magic Eden's platform.

Initiating the offer

Locate the 'Make Offer' button on the right-hand side of the screen and click on it to open the Collection Offer modal.

Adding trait offer

Within the modal, find the 'Add Trait' button at the top and click on it. Choose the specific trait type you wish to make an offer on, such as a particular background color.

Setting offer details

Enter the desired price in wrapped Ethereum (wETH) and specify an expiry period for your trait offer.

Submitting the offer

Once all details are entered, click on the pink 'Submit Collection Offer' button. This action will prompt you to sign a transaction using your wallet.

Viewing trait offers

Accessing offer information

Return to the collection page of the NFT for which you've made a trait offer. Click on the 'Offers' tab to view offer details.

Filtering offers

Toggle on the 'My Offers' option to filter and easily locate your trait offers.

Reviewing trait conditions

Under the 'Trait' heading, observe any specific conditions related to traits on your active offers. This allows for clear understanding of the offer parameters.
