Magic Eden has introduced an exciting update to the collection page, giving you the power to filter NFTs by their traits. This feature becomes even more powerful when combined with the sweep function, allowing you to purchase multiple NFTs at once. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of using the sweep function in conjunction with the trait filter, enabling you to effortlessly acquire multiple NFTs with your preferred traits.
Accessing the trait filter
Navigate to the collection page
Start by visiting Magic Eden's collection page where you can explore the available NFTs.
Locate the trait filter button
At the top right corner of the screen, you'll find the "Trait Filter" button. Click on it to access the filtering options.

Utilizing the trait filter
Upon clicking the "Trait Filter" button, a panel will open on the left-hand side of the screen. Here, you can select the specific trait or traits you want to filter for. Each trait you click on will display examples, aiding you in making an informed decision.
Select your desired trait/s
Click on the trait you wish to purchase multiple NFTs of. This will set your filter criteria.
Using the sweep function
Adjust the slider
Just below the trait filter, you will see a slider. This slider allows you to specify the number of NFTs you want to sweep into your collection. Simply drag the slider to your desired quantity.
Configure additional settings
Next to the sweep slider, you'll notice a gear icon. Click on it to access additional settings.
Max price per item
Here, you can set the maximum price you are willing to pay for each NFT.
Auto Swap
Enabling this option will automatically replace items that are sold or delisted during the sweeping process. Be aware that each transaction attempt will require wallet approval and will incur non-refundable gas fees.
Completing your purchase
Finalize your purchase
At the bottom right side of the screen, you'll find a button indicating the number of NFTs you've selected in the trait filter. Click this button when you are satisfied with your selections.
Transaction confirmation
Clicking the purchase button will redirect you to your connected Solana wallet for confirmation. Review the transaction details and approve the purchase to add the selected NFTs to your collection.
