ApeChain is a new Layer-3 blockchain developed as an Arbitrum Orbit chain by ApeCoin DAO. $APE, the native token of ApeChain, will power the network. ApeChain focuses on three core areas: content, tools, and distribution.

At its core, ApeChain operates as an Arbitrum Orbit chain, which allows it to utilize Arbitrum One’s security and infrastructure. By settling on Arbitrum One, which is itself secured by Ethereum, ApeChain benefits from both Arbitrum’s scalability and Ethereum’s robust security and liquidity, all while maintaining the independence of its own network.

ApeChain will integrate Arbitrum’s Stylus feature, enabling developers to build smart contracts using WebAssembly (WASM)-compatible languages like Rust and C++. This broadens the development possibilities beyond Solidity, making it more accessible to a wider range of developers.

To enhance scalability, ApeChain will also introduce Cluster Chains, which share validators to speed up cross-chain interactions and improve overall network efficiency.

In addition, the Timeboost feature will allow users to pay a fee for transaction prioritization. A portion of the fee will be burned to help manage the supply of ApeCoin ($APE), contributing to long-term tokenomics. Please read ApeChain’s official documentation for further information.

Once that is done, click approve and you will be good to go!

1. Navigate to https://apechain.com/portal

2. Connect your EVM wallet

3. Select the chain you want to bridge or swap from (i.e. Ethereum)

4. Specify the amount and hit submit
